I was born in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, raised in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and have resided for the past ten years on the beautiful "Treasure Coast" of South Florida. I just turned forty-seven and have also just recently decided to start pursuing my ultimate dream of being a published writer. I've been happily married twenty-one years now to my very best friend who continues to inspire me and daily reaffirms my belief in true love, so naturally I tend to gravitate towards writing about romance, love, and passions. I have eclectic tastes and interests otherwise. I love to read as much as I love to write, but I also will stay up all night drawing. It's my worst vice since I quit smoking three years ago.

I’ve been writing stories since I was a little kid. Just about everyone in my family writes, either professionally or as a hobby, so it was an easy craft for me to pick up. As I grew older, I developed an interest in fantasy and science fiction, and wrote several short stories in those genres. I tried writing various fan fictions and then got into romance, both historical and modern, which branched out into paranormal romance and erotica.

I've written three complete novels to date. I started this series, called "Moonlit Wings" late last year and am working on developing the fourth installment as well as a short story tie-in. The first book is titled “Cemetery Moon”. The follow-up is titled “Guardians And Graves”, and the third book is called “Sanctuary”. I hope to have them all as Ebooks on Smashwords in time.

My short term goal as a writer is to sell my first book. My long term goals are to actually launch this series, support myself with my writing, develop a devout fan base, start a new trend in paranormal fiction and make angels the next big thing after vampires, possibly have movie deals or a T.V. series based on my books like Charlaine Harris.

“Cemetery Moon” is about finding happiness in unlikely circumstances when all hope seems gone. It’s about realizing true love and having enough faith in that love to believe the impossible.

The main character, Mya Cotton, undergoes a different kind of redemption and is saved from a misguided path of self-destruction through the steadfast love and unconventional methods of her guardian angel. This takes place amid a backdrop of an old Gothic rectory and its neglected cemetery which also gives the story some darker intrigue and mystery. It also parallels Mya’s personal development as she discovers life, beauty, family, happiness, purpose, and love within its gates out among the forlorn graves.

I believe this book would have wide appeal to readers, but I think it would mainly attract fans of paranormal romance. Not only are there the paranormal aspects with the angels, the darker Goth elements, and underlying spirituality, but it is very much a love story with both tender and erotic encounters between the strong female main and the two very handsome rival male angels. I do think this book will most likely attract women readers who can relate to Mya’s turmoil and inner-struggles on her journey to final contentment in spite of a life turned upside down.
